On July 22nd, PTH children of all ages gathered to make sandwiches that were donated to 3 local shelters. Children ranging from 7-16 years old worked together and after working hard, made a total of 500 sandwiches! These sandwiches were delivered to two local shelters in Richmond and one in Concord. After donating these sandwiches, one of the shelters in Richmond thanked us greatly and said that if we had not donated those sandwiches the shelter would not have had anything to eat that night for dinner. One of the larger shelters received 300 sandwiches and they were able to hand out approximately 50 of the sandwiches to homeless in the streets as well. Thanks to the commitment and participation of the kids, PTH was able to help those in need.
