Due to the crisis in Haiti, Pledge to Humanity worked together with the Rancho Romero Student Council and many parent volunteers to put together a fundraiser for Haiti relief called A Lunch for Haiti. Over 30 parents and students of the Rancho Romero Student Council joined together to serve a soup lunch to all 563 students. Instead of bringing a lunch or buying a lunch, the students donated money to this great cause. Rancho Romero students raised $3,406 and Pledge to Humanity contributed $1,000, bringing to a grand total of $4,406 !!
This money will be sent to Free the Children where it will be used for emergency relief, shipments of medical supplies, and education projects for the people of Haiti.
