The Mother-Daughter Philanthropy Tea and Work Party took place at Roundhill Country Club. The event consisted of a light tea lunch and a presentation addressing ways to volunteer and lead the way to improving society both locally and globally. The mothers and daughters at this event assembled and packaged toiletry kits and sandwiches for local homeless shelters. Donations were made out to Pledge to Humanity and all funds raised were sent to Haiti, to aid in the relief effort following the earthquake.
