I like to think of Pledge to Humanity as a bridge between the children in our community and those in need here and all around the world.
Equally important is the gift of empowering our children to share of themselves and understand the true meaning of giving and personally making a difference in the lives of others.

A TRUE SUPERHERO
Bobby, a 7 year old from Alamo, was concerned that children involved in terrible traffic collisions and traumatic incidents needed to be comforted in a special and thoughtful way. In just three short years Bobby, with the help of some of his great friends (Bobby’s Bandaid Brigade and Pledge to Humanity), has donated over 4,000 teddy bears to the California Highway Patrol. In turn, we carry these new “beat partners” with us in our patrol vehicles to distribute them to children who need a soft friend to feel safe amidst their tragic circumstances, sometimes involving incapacitated parents.
