This Christmas season, Pledge to Humanity was blessed to be able to give hundreds of presents to families involved with Harbor House, in Oakland, CA. Harbor House serves over 100,000 people via youth programs, education programs, and economic development. We are so thankful for the generous people who gave hundreds of gifts to this wonderful group of people! From Melissa at Harbor House: “I just wish that there could have been a way to capture the dance that one woman did when she realized that all of the wrapped gifts in the bag were for her family. She was overjoyed. Most of the people were so moved that they couldn’t speak, and when we helped them load the gifts in their cars, they spoke with tears and from their hearts. It was a very eye opening and emotionally full day.”
