The specific purposes of Pledge To Humanity are:
- To gather a group of young people together to help coordinate and implement our projects. We are fortunate to have a group of youth in the United States who have agreed to plan and participate in our projects and fundraisers. This group of young people will recruit other youth here in the United States, and eventually they will work with youth in the international communities that we assist.

- To work with community groups, charities, and government agencies in the United States and other countries to provide needed resources, e.g., clean water information and resources, project funding, and program development support.
- To increase awareness of the need for adequate educational programs, food, water, and health care for less fortunate people in countries around the globe. Our Board and supporters recognize that these problems are consistent throughout poor communities, and there is a growing need to bring communities together through activities for children, adults, and their families.
- To encourage children and families in all of our activities to become self-sufficient and to create opportunities that will enable each program to eventually sustain itself. For example, once a school is created, we will assist in the development of programs to raise funds to maintain water wells, schools, and other programs.
- To provide charitable and educational community services to help improve the quality of life for children and families living in countries such as Haiti, India, Mexico, Ecuador, and Kenya who are struggling to overcome obstacles such as poverty, scarcity of clean water, inadequate health care, and insufficient education or a complete lack of access to a school.
- To identify resources for and coordinate the development of water well projects, small schools, and health care programs for communities in need. For example, Pledge to Humanity will work with local communities to identify resources to build water wells and schools in rural areas of Africa. We will seek partnerships with other nonprofit organizations, e.g., Free the Children, to identify communities in need and ways to help these communities build water well projects as well.
*Anyone who chooses to participate in our organization is welcome!
