Pledge to Humanity continues to support Open Arms Mexico in Tijuana on an ongoing basis. Thanks to the support of our great partners, we are able to provide clothing for the children and continue to provide funds that make it possible to serve healthy meals to the children at Open Arms.
Hundreds of toiletry kits were assembled and delivered to shelters in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco and Contra Costa County. These kits are distributed to those less fortunate in those areas to help them maintain a basic level of personal hygiene. Thanks to St. Isadore and the Michelini family over 300+ pairs of shoes have been collected and sent to Haiti. These shoes have been sent to support Project St. Anne – a shelter located just south of Port Au Prince that is dedicated to helping men, women, and children in their small community of Camp-Perrin.[…]
Recently, the Rancho Romero student council, in partnership with all of the students at their school, and several local podiatrists, collected 543 pairs of socks to benefit troops serving overseas.
