Sacred Heart Schools

A few words from Pledge to Humanity:

I like to think of Pledge to Humanity as a bridge between the children in our community and those in need here and all around the world.

Equally important is the gift of empowering our children to share of themselves and understand the true meaning of giving and personally making a difference in the lives of others.

 Sincerely, Gaby

Over the summer of 2013, Keeon Kordestani, an ambassador from Sacred Heart Schools, helped design, manufacture, test, and personally install three solar water heaters for those in need of warm, clean water in the city of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The water heaters were custom made to connect to the piping and water systems of each facility.

Although places like Puerto Vallarta remain very hot and get a lot of sunshine throughout most of the year, residents often do not have access to warm and clean water, relying on CO2 heavy oil and kerosene power to heat water, or sometimes costly electricity from a power grid. This made Puerto Vallarta an optimal place to implement Keeon’s custom built solar water heating systems, and changed the lives of communities both economically and environmentally in a sustainable way.

Pledge to Humanity is so proud of the way Keeon has put his heart and mind to work for the community of Puerta Vallarta. We are excited to continue supporting Keeon’s mission of providing people with clean water.
